General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a 3-year diploma program designed to train students in general health care and midwifery practices. The course equips students with the knowledge and skills required to care for patients across various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community health centers. It includes theoretical and practical training in subjects such as anatomy, physiology, medical-surgical nursing, pediatric nursing, psychiatric nursing, and maternal health. The program also includes a 6-month internship. GNM graduates can work as staff nurses, home care nurses, or pursue higher studies like Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
